By downloading, installing, or using VPE (Virtual Producer Engine), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use VPE. These terms apply to the desktop application, the getvpe.com website, and all associated cloud services.
VPE is a desktop application that automates live streaming workflows. It connects to OBS Studio and streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) to detect events, make decisions, and trigger effects in real time. The engine runs locally on your machine; cloud services provide license validation, feature access management, and optional telemetry.
You agree not to:
VPE collects anonymous usage telemetry and crash reports to improve the product. Stream content (video, audio, chat messages, donation data) is processed locally and never sent to our servers. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
By using VPE, you acknowledge that anonymized, aggregated usage data may be used to improve the product and shared with partners in aggregate form. This data cannot identify individual users. Examples include feature adoption rates, error frequency, and performance benchmarks. You can opt out of telemetry collection in the desktop app settings.
VPE integrates with third-party platforms (OBS, Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram). Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. VPE is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these platforms. We are not responsible for changes to their APIs, terms, or availability.
VPE, including its source code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of VPE and its creators. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the software. You do not acquire any ownership rights.
VPE is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that VPE will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all hardware or software configurations. We are not liable for missed clips, failed scene switches, or any impact on your stream caused by using VPE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VPE and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or stream audience, arising from your use of VPE. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for VPE in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of VPE after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VPE operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
